How do I humanize AI text with HumanizeMyPaper?
Paste your AI-generated paper or essay into the left panel (at least 40 words), pick a model and a level, and click Humanize My Paper. The rewrite appears on the right in seconds. Copy it, open it in the editor for fine-tuning, or run a Turnitin AI report on it to verify the result.
What is the difference between the Base, Standard and Advanced models?
Base is the quickest and most predictable rewrite, with three strength levels and a writing-style picker (academic, formal, simple, and more). Standard is a fuller rewrite with ten levels of strength. Advanced is our strongest model, tuned for coherence, flow and the heaviest rewrite, and it also offers per-sentence alternatives you can swap in. Base is also the model used by the free trial and Spin & Win rewards.
What do the levels mean?
The level controls how far the rewrite moves from your original wording. Base has levels 1 to 3: 1 is the lightest touch, 2 is the default, 3 is the strongest. Standard and Advanced have levels 1 to 10: 1 to 3 keep your tone and make minimal changes, 4 to 6 are a balanced rewrite for most papers, and 7 to 10 produce a heavy rewrite with maximum variation.
What are the writing styles on the Base model?
When the Base tab is selected you can choose a style the rewrite should lean toward: Standard, Academic, Simple, Flowing, Informal, Formal, Expand or Shorten. Academic and Formal suit essays and research papers; Simple and Flowing make dense text easier to read; Expand and Shorten adjust length while keeping your meaning.
What is Deep Humanize?
Deep Humanize is an extra-strong pass on the Base model, available on the Premium plan. Switch it on next to the style picker when you need the biggest change from the original. It still counts as one humanization from your Base allowance.
The output still sounds robotic. Why?
Usually because the source text is a weak starting point: stiff phrasing, repetitive structure or a generic AI outline. Raise the level or switch to Advanced first. If it still feels flat, regenerate the source draft with a stronger model such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini (Claude tends to give the best base text), then humanize the new version.
The output is hard to read or has mistakes. How do I fix it?
Lower the level and run it again. Levels 8 to 10 push for maximum variation, which can make some sentences awkward. A level of 5 to 7 usually gives a cleaner result that still reads as human. On Standard and Advanced you can also click a sentence in the output to pick an alternative rewrite, and the Base model's Simple or Flowing style helps with readability.
Which AI model should I use to write my source text?
The quality of the input matters more than anything. Claude models generally produce drafts that humanize best, followed by ChatGPT and Gemini. Ask for complete sentences and a natural structure rather than bullet points, and avoid heavy markdown formatting.
Can I humanize only part of a document?
Yes. Open your text in the editor, or import a .docx file with its headings, tables and images preserved, then mark just the sentences or paragraphs you want rewritten. Everything you mark is humanized in one pass, with the rewritten passages highlighted so you can review each change.
How do I check whether my paper still reads as AI-written?
Run a Turnitin AI report from the result panel to get a full report on the humanized text, or use the in-editor AI check to see flagged passages highlighted directly in your document. Standard and Premium plans include a monthly allowance of both, and additional reports can be purchased as top-ups.
Which languages are supported?
Every model humanizes text in 40 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Pick the language from the flag menu on the Original Text panel before you humanize.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets one free humanization on the Base model once the email address is verified (or when signing up with Google). To keep it fair, the free credit is not granted to duplicate accounts, or to sign-ups from a VPN or proxy. You can also spin the wheel every 72 hours for extra humanizations, AI reports and in-editor checks.
How long can my text be?
Up to 5,000 words per request. For a longer paper, humanize it chapter by chapter, or open it in the editor and mark the parts you want rewritten so each pass stays under the limit.
Is my text private?
Your humanization history is visible only to your account. Documents in the editor are temporary and are deleted automatically seven days after you upload or create them.
